🧵 How your blanket is made
Each fabric square is carefully cut and stabilised by hand before being sewn together to create your finished blanket.
Every blanket is backed with super-soft fleece, making it warm, cosy and soft to the touch.
You can choose from a range of fleece backing colours to make your blanket even more personal.
👕 What clothing can I use?
Almost any item of clothing can be used, including:
Babygrows
Vests
T-shirts and tops
Dresses
Baby outfits
Children's clothing
Adult clothing
We can also stitch bibs, hats, socks, comforters and special outfits onto the top of your blanket at no extra cost, where suitable.
📦 How much clothing do I need?
As a general guide, we recommend sending:
Baby clothing: approximately 75 babygrows/items
Adult clothing: approximately 15 items
Where possible, we can use both the front and back of garments to create additional squares.
For baby grows, the front squares will often incorporate the poppers, adding an extra special detail to your blanket.
If you would like us to incorporate more of your garments, or if you don't want plain sections cut from the backs of clothing to be used, please let us know when sending your items.
The exact amount of clothing required can vary depending on the size and type of garments supplied.

Because your blanket is made from your own clothing, no two blankets are ever the same.
The colours, patterns, textures and special details from your garments will create a blanket that is completely personal to you and your family.
🧼 Care instructions
Your memory blanket can be machine washed at 40°C, but we recommend hand washing where possible to help preserve the fabrics and details.
Do not tumble dry.
Allow your blanket to dry naturally.
📋 Before sending your clothing
Please ensure all clothing is freshly laundered, clean and completely dry before sending it to us.
We do not wash customer-supplied clothing before use.
